1996 Bulgaria National Olympiad, 2

The quadrilateral $ABCD$ is inscribed in a circle. The lines $AB$ and $CD$ meet each other in the point $E$, while the diagonals $AC$ and $BD$ in the point $F$. The circumcircles of the triangles $AFD$ and $BFC$ have a second common point, which is denoted by $H$. Prove that $\angle EHF=90^\circ$.

2022 Bulgarian Spring Math Competition, Problem 11.4

Let $n \geq 2$ be a positive integer. The set $M$ consists of $2n^2-3n+2$ positive rational numbers. Prove that there exists a subset $A$ of $M$ with $n$ elements with the following property: $\forall$ $2 \leq k \leq n$ the sum of any $k$ (not necessarily distinct) numbers from $A$ is not in $A$.

1991 Bulgaria National Olympiad, Problem 2

Let $K$ be a cube with edge $n$, where $n>2$ is an even integer. Cube $K$ is divided into $n^3$ unit cubes. We call any set of $n^2$ unit cubes lying on the same horizontal or vertical level a layer. We dispose of $\frac{n^3}4$ colors, in each of which we paint exactly $4$ unit cubes. Prove that we can always select $n$ unit cubes of distinct colors, no two of which lie on the same layer.

2007 Bulgaria National Olympiad, 2

Find the greatest positive integer $n$ such that we can choose $2007$ different positive integers from $[2\cdot 10^{n-1},10^{n})$ such that for each two $1\leq i<j\leq n$ there exists a positive integer $\overline{a_{1}a_{2}\ldots a_{n}}$ from the chosen integers for which $a_{j}\geq a_{i}+2$. 2020 Bulgaria Team Selection Test, 2

Given two odd natural numbers $ a,b$ prove that for each $ n\in\mathbb{N}$ there exists $ m\in\mathbb{N}$ such that either $ a^mb^2-1$ or $ b^ma^2-1$ is multiple of $ 2^n.$

2007 Bulgarian Autumn Math Competition, Problem 11.4

There are 1000 towns $A_{1},A_{2},\ldots ,A_{1000}$ with airports in a country and some of them are connected via flights. It's known that the $i$-th town is connected with $d_{i}$ other towns where $d_{1}\leq d_{2}\leq \ldots \leq d_{1000}$ and $d_{j}\geq j+1$ for every $j=1,2,\ldots 999-d_{999}$. Prove that if the airport of any town $A_{k}$ is closed, then we'd still be able to get from any town $A_{i}$ to any $A_{j}$ for $i,j\neq k$ (possibly by more than one flight).

2022 Bulgaria National Olympiad, 4

Let $n\geq 4$ be a positive integer and $x_{1},x_{2},\ldots ,x_{n},x_{n+1},x_{n+2}$ be real numbers such that $x_{n+1}=x_{1}$ and $x_{n+2}=x_{2}$. If there exists an $a>0$ such that \[x_{i}^2=a+x_{i+1}x_{i+2}\quad\forall 1\leq i\leq n\] then prove that at least $2$ of the numbers $x_{1},x_{2},\ldots ,x_{n}$ are negative.

1977 Bulgaria National Olympiad, Problem 5

Let $Q(x)$ be a non-zero polynomial and $k$ be a natural number. Prove that the polynomial $P(x) = (x-1)^kQ(x)$ has at least $k+1$ non-zero coefficients.

2008 Bulgarian Autumn Math Competition, Problem 11.4

a) Prove that $\lfloor x\rfloor$ is odd iff $\Big\lfloor 2\{\frac{x}{2}\}\Big\rfloor=1$ ($\lfloor x\rfloor$ denotes the largest integer less than or equal to $x$ and $\{x\}=x-\lfloor x\rfloor$). b) Let $n$ be a natural number. Find the number of square free numbers $a$, such that $\Big\lfloor\frac{n}{\sqrt{a}}\Big\rfloor$ is odd. (A natural number is square free if it's not divisible by any square of a prime number).

2018 Thailand TSTST, 3

Find all pairs of integers $m, n \geq 2$ such that $$n\mid 1+m^{3^n}+m^{2\cdot 3^n}.$$
