On a semicircle with diameter $AB$ and centre $S$, points $C$ and $D$ are given such that point $C$ belongs to arc $AD$. Suppose $\angle CSD = 120^\circ$. Let $E$ be the point of intersection of the straight lines $AC$ and $BD$ and $F$ the point of intersection of the straight lines $AD$ and $BC$. Prove that $EF=\sqrt{3}AB$.
The quadrilateral $ABCD$ is inscribed in a circle of radius $1$, so that $AB$ is a diameter of the circumference and $CD = 1$. A variable point $X$ moves along the semicircle determined by $AB$ that does not contain $C$ or $D$. Determine the position of $X$ for which the sum of the distances from $X$ to lines $BC, CD$ and $DA$ is maximum.
Given a semicirle with center $O$ an arbitrary inner point of the diameter divides it into two segments. Let there be semicircles above the two segments as visible in the below figure. The line $\ell$ passing through the point $A$ intersects the semicircles in $4$ points: $B, C, D$ and $E$. Show that the segments $BC$ and $DE$ have the same length.

Any point $ M $ of the semicircle is connected by segments with $ A $ and $ B $ to obtain points $ K $ and $ L $ on $ \overline{DC} $, respectively. Prove that $ DL^2 + KC^2 = AB^2 $.

Assume that $C$ is a right angle of triangle $ABC$ and $N$ is a midpoint of the semicircle, constructed on $CB$ as on diameter externally. Prove that $AN$ divides the bisector of angle $C$ in half.
Given semicircle $(c)$ with diameter $AB$ and center $O$. On the $(c)$ we take point $C$ such that the tangent at the $C$ intersects the line $AB$ at the point $E$. The perpendicular line from $C$ to $AB$ intersects the diameter $AB$ at the point $D$. On the $(c)$ we get the points $H,Z$ such that $CD = CH = CZ$. The line $HZ$ intersects the lines $CO,CD,AB$ at the points $S, I, K$ respectively and the parallel line from $I$ to the line $AB$ intersects the lines $CO,CK$ at the points $L,M$ respectively. We consider the circumcircle $(k)$ of the triangle $LMD$, which intersects again the lines $AB, CK$ at the points $P, U$ respectively. Let $(e_1), (e_2), (e_3)$ be the tangents of the $(k)$ at the points $L, M, P$ respectively and $R = (e_1) \cap (e_2)$, $X = (e_2) \cap (e_3)$, $T = (e_1) \cap (e_3)$. Prove that if $Q$ is the center of $(k)$, then the lines $RD, TU, XS$ pass through the same point, which lies in the line $IQ$.
Let $AMNB$ be a quadrilateral inscribed in a semicircle of diameter $AB = x$. Denote $AM = a$, $MN = b$, $NB = c$. Prove that $x^3- (a^2 + b^2 + c^2)x -2abc = 0$.
An equilateral triangle $ABC$ is given. With $BC$ as diameter, a semicircle is drawn outside the triangle. On the semicircle, points $D$ and $E$ are chosen such that the arc lengths $BD, DE$ and $EC$ are equal. Prove that the line segments $AD$ and $AE$ divide the side $BC$ into three equal parts.

Let $ABC$ be an acute triangle with $AB<AC<BC, c$ it's circumscribed circle and $D,E$ be the midpoints of $AB,AC$ respectively. With diameters the sides $AB,AC$, we draw semicircles, outer of the triangle, which are intersected by line $D$ at points $M$ and $N$ respectively. Lines $MB$ and $NC$ intersect the circumscribed circle at points $T,S$ respectively. Lines $MB$ and $NC$ intersect at point $H$. Prove that:
a) point $H$ lies on the circumcircle of triangle $AMN$
b) lines $AH$ and $TS$ are perpedicular and their intersection, let it be $Z$, is the circimcenter of triangle $AMN$
Let $ABCD$ be a square with side length $2$, and let a semicircle with flat side $CD$ be drawn inside the square. Of the remaining area inside the square outside the semi-circle, the largest circle is drawn. What is the radius of this circle?

The radius of the semicircle is $4$ units and the point of tangency divides the diameter in the ratio $7 :1$.
